The apartment in Canet-en-Roussillon is in walking distance of the sea, the beach, the centre of the village and the supermarket. The minute you set foot in Canet Plage you can do everything by foot. Leave your car behind and enjoy the sea breeze and breathe in the clean air.
Canet-Plage is totally flat and therefore extremely suitable for people with a reduced mobility. The village has everything to make your holiday one off the best you ever had. The residences are friendly, helpful and speak English too.

Canet-en-Roussillon is a village in the district Languedoc-Roussillon and only 50 km above the Spanish border at the Mediterranean sea. Perpignan, the capital of the district, has some beautiful historical sites. Other cities worth to pay a visit are Narbonne, Carcassonne and Barcelona off course.
The road to Spain along the coast, named Côte de la Vermeille, is beautiful to drive en gives splendid views over the Mediterranean Sea. End your drive in Rosas, Spain and taste Tapas en Spanish wine at a terrace with sea view.

Your journey towards Canet-en-Roussillon is about 1150 km with Calais, Sangatte as starting point. At first the French highway will take you to Paris and furthermore you will pass Orléans, Vierzon, Châteauroux, Limomges, Cahors, Toulouse, Carcassonne, Narbonne and Perpignan. Even the last piece of the toll road nearby Cahors is finished and makes your journey even easier.

Tips and tricks.
When you want to spend a night somewhere along the route Etaphotel is a perfect and cheap solution. Accessible rooms with private bathrooms and breakfast for about € 35. Make a reservation upfront just to be sure you have the room for handicapped people.
Do you have an European Parking card? Show it to the box office girl/boy and she/he will reduce the toll if applicable. Do ask a brochure.
